I thought that this particular post should be about combining all of my loves! Each of the items are designed, sourced or sold locally, which makes me very happy when I can get so many unique gifts in my very own backyard. So without further adieu, my holiday gift list!
2015 Holiday Gift List
One of my absolute favorite trends this season is the cape and if you’ve been following me on Instagram you know how much I adore them! Next up, local jewelry designer, Dana Reed. You may have spotted Dana’s gorgeous pieces in some of Chicago’s best boutiques. Her hand-forged jewelry is an effortless marriage of sophisticated minimalism with a hint of urban edge. Her designs are feminine and unique with quality at every price point.
Head on over to Wicker Park where you’ll find the adorable shop, Elevenzees. This cozy, and utterly charming store, with an incredible inventory ranging from gifts for home, baby and essentials to soothe the soul. The mother and son team, Patty and Chad, launched a luxurious candle line last spring, each soy candles is hand poured in small batches and are infused with the best quality fragrance oils available, each is beautifully packaged and contains a crystal which corresponds to the candle scent and its unique intention. Don’t miss their limited edition seasonal candles in “Mulled Spices” and “Holiday”!
No gift list is complete without a gorgeous handbag and Brynn Capella does not disappoint! Her buttery, sumptuous, Italian leather handbags effortlessly transition wardrobes from day-to-night and season-to-season for everyday life. From her functional downtown carry-all tote to a very popular convertible cross-body bag, her details are amazing with stylish studs, contrast stitching and leathers that get better, softer with age. I have this particular bag in two colors and they have traveled all over the world with me and I still love them years after I originally purchased them! Also, I have been obsessed with the this color of hers for years!
Walk into Foursided in Lakeview and I dare you not to smile! This eclectic little shop is filled whimsical gift ideas from art, custom framing to stationery and vintage objects. Even more impressive is the healthy collection of cat-infused everything! Which makes is purrfect for everyone on your list! Don’t forget to head right next door for their pop-up holiday shop, where you’ll find unique ornaments, beautiful wrappings and all things holiday!
