Hello May, Hello Sunshine!
Finally, we’re seeing the part of spring we’ve been looking forward to for months. I don’t know about you, but it gets me in the mood to lighten and brighten things up.
I recently decided that a few things in my life needed some simplifying in the name of motherhood and my sanity. There’s no better place to start, than in my very own closet and trust me, even for a personal stylist, it can be a daunting task.
Knowing I would be whittling down my clothing options, I decided to head online to thredUp and order a Clean Out Bag. thredUP is the easiest way to shop and sell high-quality secondhand clothes and is my go-to resource when a closet cleanse is complete. You can decide whether you want to receive store credit on thredUP, donate to a cause or receive cash.
Once I complete the cleanse, I make a quick list of basics that need to b replenish for the season and also take stock of closet staples are holding up and fit. The end of spring is the perfect time to take stock of seasonal investment pieces, such as raincoats and boots, trench coats, blazers and spring shoes.
Last I make a mental note on a few outfits quickly come together for the weeks to ahead for hectic mornings.
Getting dress doesn’t need to be a challenge. A little organization and fine-tuning will leave you with fresh ideas making mornings much easier; you may even find you fall in love again with your closet again.
