Beat the Heat – or Not!

by devjules

As a long-time Chicagoan, I feel that it is my duty to impart a little wisdom, so I’m going to share a little secret — ALWAYS BE READY for whatever comes your way! So it may be 50 degrees in August but you better believe there’s bound to be a 90 degree day later on the very same week. With that said, I do everything in my power to ensure full readiness for what ever Mother Nature wants to bless this fine city with.

Attending my favorite hairstylist, Lynzie Wellin’s, How to Beat the Heat without Hot Tools, class earlier this week was the perfect example of said readiness! I know right?! This class was super informational with easy to follow instructions and tips that even a hair styling novice like myself can follow.

Lynzie’s class had me thinking about an easy breezy summer outfit to highlight my effortless waves and also one that could transition later into Fall! A few key staples like a grandpa cardi and delicious suede boots can transform this sassy summer dress into a fall favorite.
