I like to advise clients that these types of sales are perfect for pieces you will treasure, and wear over and over again for years to come. In other words, spend money on workhorse items. Like a gorgeous leather tote, boots or a good winter coat. Also think high-quality material and craft, for instance, a statement clutch, a well-tailored blazer or leather jacket.
