You’ve seen it everywhere this season. LEOPARD. Blouses, pants, shoes, bags and everything in between. The intriguing print is taking center stage and readily available at every price point, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! (another meow, for those of you following CWStyle this season.)
Make no mistake, although this pretty print is trending now, the unavoidable leopard love fest has been around for a very long time; some even called it tacky at one point in time. (No friend of mine obviously.) Fear not my spot-loving friend, not only is it a fashion statement now; it most certainly will remain a fashion must-have-print in every closet for years to come.
You’ve heard me say it before, leopard along with many other prints can be used as a neutral when interest and whimsy are needed to spice up your outfits; like mixing it with different prints or adding a much need visual interested to an otherwise solid-color ensemble.
Another style mantra is to invest in quality pieces that will stand the test of time, and quite often I recommend shopping for these investment pieces, at the end of the season or big event sales, as in Black Friday, or just after the holidays.
Because leopard had hit the Fall spotlight in such a grandiose manner, many designers jumped in and added their unique take to the mix. So if you’ve tried adding a little leopard to your fall lineup and are enjoying the new found love thus far, or even if you’ve wanted to try, then now is the time to invest in a few pieces you’ll love for years to come at a fraction of the cost!
